On November 22, Lithuania delivered another military aid package to Ukraine for the Armed Forces.

This was announced by the Ministry of National Defense of Lithuania on the X social network.

It is noted that 3 million units of 7.62x51 mm ammunition were delivered to Ukraine by the Lithuanian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian army also received remote detonation systems and winter equipment.

Our commitment to providing aid to Ukraine remains unwavering, the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania added.

Lithuania helps Ukraine

Lithuania is one of Ukraine's allies, which helps Kyiv with weapons and military equipment and trains the Ukrainian military.

On November 10, Lithuania confirmed the transfer of launchers for NASAMS to Ukraine.

Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anusauskas stated that the purchased NASAMS launchers "will be integrated into the fire control units of the Armed Forces, thus complementing and expanding the operational capabilities of the NASAMS systems donated by Norway and the United States."

Our support remains an important factor in the defense of Ukraine. We listen to Ukraine's needs and call on our allies to listen to them as well, Anushauskas said.

In June, the Defense Resources Agency under the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania signed a contract with the Norwegian company Kongsberg to purchase NASAMS launchers. Before handing over the installations, Ukrainian servicemen underwent comprehensive training.

Along with the NASAMS launchers, Lithuania provided the high-mileage vehicles required for the missile complex crews. The Norwegian Ministry of Defense provided an additional package for difficult maintenance.

On November 17, Lithuania handed Ukraine a new package of military aid. It included a batch of generators, field beds and dry rations.
