As part of the trip to the Munich Security Conference, the Ukrainian delegation has agreements with several countries on new military aid packages.
Ukraine will receive new military aid — Zelensky
The Munich Security Conference became an important starting point for Ukraine for agreements on obtaining weapons and ammunition.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said this on the air of the telethon.
Also, according to Zelenskyi, there are agreements on the production of weapons for Ukraine.
Munich Security Conference
The Munich Security Conference started on February 16. More than 150 world leaders gathered in Germany to discuss global security issues. Aid to Ukraine was one of the main topics.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi also took part in the Munich conference. He spoke at the conference on Saturday, February 17.
During a speech at the Munich Security Conference, Zelensky said that the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Putin shows where the Russian dictator's career should end.
Putin has only two possible ends - the Hague tribunal or being killed by one of those who are now killing for him. Destroying the source of destabilization is our task, and rightly so.
Zelenskyy urged to do everything possible to defeat Russia.
He also commented on the death of Alexei Navalny in a Russian colony.
After the assassination of Navalny, it would be absurd to see Putin as the legitimate leader of the Russian state, he is a thug who holds power through corruption and violence. Arriving at his inauguration, shaking his hand, accepting him as an equal would be an affront to the nature of political power.
Announced aid to Ukraine
On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, said that Prague had found 800,000 155- and 122-caliber projectiles around the world, which could be handed over to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
And the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, announced the decision to transfer to Ukraine all the artillery that her country has in reserve.
In addition, in Munich, the Ukrainian delegation signed an agreement with the German company Rheinmetall on the opening of a plant for the production of projectiles in Ukraine.
