A group of countries of the North Atlantic Alliance wants to hand over a million drones to Ukrainian defenders as part of military aid.
NATO plans to transfer one million drones to Ukraine
The NATO chief reminded that today, February 15, another meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council was held. In particular, the Ukrainian Minister of Defence, Rustem Umierov, informed the allies about the situation at the front, and the NATO countries emphasised the importance of further support.
Stoltenberg also noted that over the past few days, allies, including Canada, Finland and Norway, have announced new military aid packages to Ukraine, including equipment and spare parts for the F-16 and air defence equipment.
Coalition of Drones
Earlier, NATO created a coalition of drones to help Ukrainian defenders, which was joined by more than 20 countries.
Today, February 15, British Defence Secretary Grant Shapps announced that his country and Latvia will lead such a coalition.
Shapps also announced the transfer of a thousand drones to our country as part of a British package worth 200 million pounds.
