The head of NATO's Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, publicly insists on an immediate transformation of the bloc's military capabilities in an era of unpredictability in which "anything" can happen.

NATO is increasingly declaring the possibility of hostilities on the bloc's territory

On January 17, Rob Bauer opened a two-day meeting of NATO commanders in Brussels.

He drew attention to the fact that the bloc must transform the conduct of hostilities.

In his opinion, public and private actors must change their thinking, moving from an era when everything was planned and predictable to an era "when anything can happen at any time" and in which "we have to expect the unexpected."

We need a warfighting transformation of NATO. the chief of the alliance's Military Committee, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, said as he opened a two-day meeting of national defence chiefs in Brussels.

He reiterated that cooperation between the public and private sectors will be the main factor in implementing this plan.

According to NATO's top leader, many more steps must be taken in military terms.

[We are] in an era in which anything can happen at any time, an era in which we need to expect the unexpected, an era in which we need to focus on effectiveness in order to be fully effective. Ukraine will have our support for every day that is to come, because the outcome of this war will determine the fate of the world, added Rob Bauer.

NATO continues to deny the bloc's preparations for war with Russia

The world is actively discussing the material of the German publication Bild that the Alliance has already started preparing for war with Russia.

However, the head of NATO's Center of Excellence for Strategic Communications, Janis Sarts, denies this information.

According to the latter, the journalists received only an educational script.

The scenarios used to be completely made up with non-existent countries and geographic regions. Now it is more appropriate to use existing countries and geographical regions, - explained the NATO representative.
