Dutch Defence Ministry, Kaisa Ollongren, called on Kyiv's international partners to adopt an action plan, according to which military support for Ukraine will no longer have restrictions.

Help from partners for Ukraine should go without restrictions

According to the Dutch defense minister, when it comes to conventional weapons, training and spare parts, there should not be any restrictions on supporting Ukraine.

She also reminded how important the assistance of the Armed Forces is against the background of a full-scale war with Russia.

I think we've evolved in how we do it. We started supplying (weapons. — Ed.) from our own warehouses, and now we do it in cooperation with other countries and industries, because we also needed to maintain our stocks.

According to Kaysa Ollongen, the military support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is extremely important not only for Kyiv and the Ukrainian people, but also directly for the security of the Netherlands.

Despite the fact that the country is a member of the EU and NATO, it is also not immune from a full-scale war.

What is important to understand is that for almost two years of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, the Netherlands provided military support to Ukraine in the amount of 2.63 billion euros.

Soldiers of the Armed Forces received combat vehicles, air defense systems, F-16 fighters and ammunition from official Amsterdam, as well as field beds and computers.

The Netherlands will transfer more F-16 fighters to Ukraine

On February 5, the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands, Kaisa Ollongren, officially confirmed that her department is preparing to provide the Armed Forces with 6 more F-16 fighters.

It is worth paying attention to the fact that, in this way, the total number of aircraft that the Netherlands promised to transfer to Ukraine increased to 24.

Ukraine's superiority in the air is necessary to counter Russian aggression, Kaisa Ollongren stressed.
