Despite the fact that on January 30, the government of Ukraine submitted to the parliament a new version of the draft law on mobilization, its norms can still be changed.

New draft law on mobilization is not the final version, NSDC says

As Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council, stressed, first of all, the new draft law must take into account the needs of the soldiers of the Armed Forces.

It is important to understand that during the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief there were many discussions regarding changes in the draft law.

According to him, the latest version of the document was finalized in the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Defense, but it is not final.

I think there will still be discussions among deputies about whether additional amendments should be made, - added Oleksiy Danilov.

As the secretary of the National Security Council explains, it is extremely important to wait for the final version of the draft law on mobilization in order to draw certain conclusions.

The authorities of Ukraine first of all want this document to be fair.

New draft law on mobilization. What is important to know:

  1. the document clearly outlines the methods of influencing citizens who do not fulfill their responsibilities for mobilization training and mobilization. It is about blocking bank accounts and bringing citizens to court.

  2. Ukrainians will start receiving news through the electronic cabinet.

  3. in Ukraine, they can cancel the fixed-term service. It will be replaced by basic military training. In addition, there will also be mandatory military training after mobilization for two to three months.

  4. in addition, the document contains a proposal to reduce the conscription age for citizens from 27 to 25 years. Now men will become conscripts from the age of 25, and from 18 to 25 will be considered conscripts.
