New surprises. Budanov made a statement about the Crimean Bridge

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine
Kyrylo Budanov

Kyrylo Budanov, Ukraine military spy chief, emphasized that his team owes its success in Crimea to the inhabitants of the peninsula. In addition, he hinted at the future fate of the Crimean bridge.

Budanov said that Ukraine will never give up Crimea

Ukraine military spy chief reminds that Russia's war against Ukraine began not two years ago, but ten years ago - with the occupation of Ukrainian Crimea.

However, neither the Ukrainian state nor Ukrainians agreed to recognize the aggressor's right to the Crimean land. And the resistance of the local Ukrainian population against the occupiers did not subside even for a moment, despite the repressions. For a successful defense and counteroffensive, we must control the waters of the Black Sea and be present on the Crimean peninsula.

He also drew attention to the fact that the tasks set were fulfilled, because Russia:

  1. lost a quarter of her ships;

  2. was forced to withdraw its fleet to the coast of the Caucasus,

  3. redeployed its aviation, because the airfields and military facilities of Crimea are constantly under our fire influence.

Budanov promised Russians "new surprises" in Crimea

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, residents of Crimea have always helped Ukrainian intelligence officers to organize and conduct important operations on the peninsula.

What is important to understand is that they not only strengthened their resistance to the Russian invaders, but also find an opportunity to monitor the entire operational situation on the peninsula and transmit this information to Ukraine as soon as possible.

We promised that Ukrainian special forces would be in Crimea in 2023, and we fulfilled this promise. New surprises await the enemies, and I would not recommend the civilian population to use the so-called "Crimean" bridge, - said Kyrylo Budanov.
