Russian opposition political scientist Abbas Gallyamov does not believe that the elites of the Russian Federation can rise against Putin while he remains the current president. However, a dictator can become a victim of conflicts between two power groups in the aggressor country.

Why you shouldn't count on a "palace coup" in the Kremlin

According to the expert, he sees only two scenarios in which the head of the Kremlin may lose his presidential position.

One is a severe breakthrough by the Armed Forces of Ukraine soldiers on the battlefield.

Another option is another rebellion in the aggressor country, like the one organized by Prigozhin.

Abbas Gallyamov warns that no one will actively play the system against Putin.

They will turn him in anytime they feel he is losing. They ("elites" — ed.) will not lay down their bones for him. But I don't really believe in dropping it yourself. So far, they have something to lose, the oppositionist emphasized.

The collapse in Russia will repeat itself more than once

Abbas Gallyamov also drew attention to the fact that the so-called "elites" have something to lose, and they are also afraid of Putin.

Every representative of the elite of the Russian Federation realized a long time ago that the head of the Kremlin is cruel, immoral and always ready to take revenge on his traitors.

No one will ever forget the epic story with Prigozhin and how it ended.

But this does not mean that Putin will not lose power because of them. How did Prigozhin's coup begin? A dispute arose between the two groups on the topic "what to do to save their lives." And this put the system on the verge of collapse. This will be repeated more than once, the oppositionist predicts.

He also drew attention to the fact that the system in Russia is already actively reaching a dead end, and this will be another push to remove Putin.

However, there will be no classic "palace coup". Everything will be decided for Putin.

He will stand somewhere on the side and watch how everything is destroyed, the political expert concludes.
