One civilian killed, eight others injured during Russia's missile attack on Kharkiv

On the night of 29 December, the occupiers struck the city of Kharkiv about 10 times. A young man was killed as a result of the shelling, and eight people were injured.

What is known about consequences of Russia’s attack on Kharkiv

According to the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration (RMA), Oleh Syniehubov, the type of weapon, used by thr Russians, is being established by experts. There were no casualties. Information about the damage is being established. Rescuers and police are working in the areas damaged by hits.

Mayor Terekhov wrote that Kharkiv was shelled by two types of missiles, S-300 and Kh-22. According to him, at least eight hits were recorded in the city. They occurred in Kyiv and Kholodnohirsky districts, but the information is being clarified.

The city has some problems with the supply of electricity for transport, but specialists are already working to restore power supply. Currently, trolleybuses with autonomous power supply are used.

At 8:35 am, Syniegubov said that a 35-years-old man was killed as a result of the occupiers' strikes on Kharkiv.

Eight people were injured, doctors are providing assistance at the scene. Medical facilities, warehouses, business centers and other infrastructure were damaged. The data is being updated, Syniehubov wrote.

Missile attack on Ukraine: what is known

Russian troops conducted 10 strikes on the Kharkiv region. The mayor of Kharkiv reported 12 strikes on the capital city. There are problems with electricity supply, a hospital was damaged, and a person died. Another 8 people were injured.

The Russian army also struck Konotop in the Sumy region, according to the local military administration. A residential building and a service station were damaged, and three people were injured.

In Dnipro, a rocket attack damaged a maternity hospital, leaving it with broken windows. A fire also broke out in a shopping centre.
