New drone attack in Crimea

The occupiers said they had allegedly repelled a drone "attack" in Crimea from 20:30 to 22:30 on 15 December. According to the Russians, 26 drones were shot down. They traditionally blamed Ukraine for this.

Later that day, the Russians announced that they had allegedly shot down six more drones in Crimea.

We would like to add that on 15 December, explosions were heard in different areas of Crimea. The occupation authorities reported the operation of air defence in Sevastopol and Simferopol district. In addition, it was reported that air defence was operating in the Genichesk district.

The representative of the occupation 'authorities' in Kherson region, the so-called 'governor' Vladimir Saldo, said that the city was under heavy shelling.

He also spoke about the allegedly downed missiles.

What is known about the attacks on Crimea

To recap, on the night of 30 October, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on an anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Russian air defence near the village of Olenivka in Crimea.

According to the occupiers, 17 servicemen were wounded. Five vehicles were also damaged, one of which is beyond repair.

On 1 November, the so-called "governor" of the Russian occupation authorities in Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said that terrorists were using a smoke screen in the area of Sevastopol Bay.

He later reported that the military was allegedly working to destroy a large number of different aerial targets in different areas across the peninsula.

Later, the local community reported the movement of missiles from the Henichesk district through the Arabat Spit towards Crimea. In particular, it became known about the alleged use of a smoke screen over the Crimean bridge.

At least two resort facilities seized by terrorists on the Arabat Spit were damaged during the shelling.

On 4 November, the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military had struck the Zaliv shipyard in Crimea.

On 21 November, a series of explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

Eyewitnesses reported the first explosion in the central part of the city at around 12:15, followed by another one. Despite the fact that no air raid alert was announced in the city, later, according to Krymskiy Vetr, at least five explosions were heard again.
