Recently, the Polish leader Andrzej Duda admitted that he doubts the probability of deoccupation of Crimea by Ukraine. This statement outraged politicians from the ruling camp of Poland.

Duda's words about Crimea are criticized in Poland

The representatives of the leading "Civic Coalition" express the greatest indignation.

What is important to understand is that the Polish president came under fire for doubting that Ukraine would return Crimea, as well as for remarking that Crimea belonged to Russia for a longer time than to Ukraine.

The well-known politician Krzysztof Brayza made a separate statement on this matter.

It's a shame. Today, Duda says that Crimea is unknown because "most of the time it was in the hands of Russia." In August 2022, he claimed that Crimea is Ukraine, "just as Gdansk is part of Poland," he emphasized.

Duda's words also angered Dariusz Rosati. He even called the President of Poland "a terrible mistake."

Another proof that Duda is some kind of terrible mistake. Voters of "Rights and Justice", open your eyes, he wrote in his Twitter (Х).

Another representative of the "Civic Coalition", Roman Gertyh, admitted that he considers Andrzej Duda's words a "stupid answer".

If the decisive factor for statehood is the time when the territory belonged to one or another state, then please remind Mr. Duda that in our country there are cities that in their history belonged to Poland for a shorter time than to another state... What an abysmally stupid answer!

The State Secretary of the Ministry of National Defense of Poland Cezary Tomczyk also publicly mocked the Polish leader's statement.

The president is not obliged to speak English... But he must speak Polish intelligently and not harm the interests of his own country. Crimea belongs to Ukraine. Russia is the occupier.

What exactly did Duda say about Crimea

According to the head of Poland, he has doubts about Ukraine's ability to return the occupied Crimea.

"I don't know if Ukraine will return Crimea, but I believe that it will return Donetsk and Luhansk," the politician said.

In addition, Andrzej Duda unexpectedly spoke about the fact that Crimea was under the control of the Russian Federation for quite a long time, but did not explain how this fact affects the probability of its deoccupation.
