Demchenko confirmed that the Polish protesters stopped the blockade at the Krakiwiec checkpoint. He added that the farmers have already announced the resumption of protests in this direction approximately from March 13.

According to the spokesman, there are about 1,700 trucks in queues in all directions.

Of course, although the direction of the checkpoint "Krakowec" is unblocked, the traffic there is intense, but there is also a queue of trucks on the territory of Poland waiting to cross the border to our country. These are about 600 cargo vehicles, Demchenko added.

Protests of Polish farmers: what is known

Since February 9, Polish farmers have been blocking checkpoints on the border of Ukraine for the passage of trucks.

These are the checkpoints: "Dorogusk — Yagodin", "Grebenne — Rava-Ruska", "Medyka — Sheghini", "Zosyn — Ustylug", "Dolgobichuv — Ugryniv", "Korchova — Krakowiec".

They demand to ban the import of Ukrainian agricultural products and for Poland to abandon the European Green Deal.

During this time, they dumped Ukrainian agricultural crops 5 times from freight cars onto the tracks or from trucks onto the roads.

Since March 1, the Sheghini checkpoint has been completely blocked.
