Polish farmers intensify their strike at the border with Ukraine
This Sunday, the strikers will completely block one of the checkpoints in both directions.
The State Customs Service of Ukraine reports this on Facebook.
According to preliminary information from the Polish side, due to a strike by local farmers, the movement of trucks in both directions will be blocked at the checkpoint "Yagodin - Dorogusk".
Traffic is expected to be completely blocked for goods vehicles in both directions. For this purpose, farmers from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France are heading to the Polish-Ukrainian border, intending to take part in a large-scale protest.
As of today, there are 550 trucks in the queue to enter Yagodyn-Dorogusk, and 820 vehicles are waiting in the electronic queue to exit.

The situation at the border as of February 17
The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, said on the air of the telethon that about 3,300 trucks are currently waiting in line at the border.
Demchenko recalled that on February 16, Polish protesters also began to block the direction of the Krakivets checkpoint.
He added that there are also thousands of trucks waiting to leave Ukraine. But in this case, drivers do not need to be physically at the border and thanks to "eCherga" they can be in more comfortable places while waiting for the border crossing.
"Yagodin" was crossed by 140 trucks per day, of which 108 went to Ukraine.
