Donald Tusk

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk officially confirmed that Polish and Ukrainian government officials will hold a meeting in Warsaw on March 28 to resolve the blockade of the Polish-Ukrainian border.

Representatives of Ukraine and Poland are preparing for negotiations

Donald Tusk drew attention to the historical moment when official Warsaw and Kyiv needed to make decisions.

It is essential to understand that he meant the second anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.

We are talking about our relations with our neighbours, our position, the internal situation, the situation on the border with Ukraine, farmers, and protests. We must find a joint solution to preserve the interests of Polish farmers.

Zelenskyy is trying to solve the problem of the blockade on the border of Ukraine

As mentioned earlier, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently addressed Kyiv's allies in Europe, primarily Warsaw, regarding the situation on the Ukrainian-Polish border.

In addition, the head of state said that he instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to be at the border between the two states by February 24.

The president also called on the Polish prime minister and president to support this dialogue and appealed to the European Commission to have its representative participate in this meeting.

I want to appeal to everyone who remembers the full meaning of the word "solidarity". The words that so greatly changed the history of our entire Europe for the better. It was. And in many ways it is. But we also see excessive and unfair politicization now, due to which joint achievements may begin to crumble, Zelenskyy emphasised.

According to Polish leader Andrzej Duda, he supports the idea of meeting the Ukrainian and Polish governments with representatives of the European Commission to resolve the situation at the border.
