The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, during his speech at the Munich Security Conference, noted progress in the issue of the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

What is known about the progress in the transfer of F-16 fighters from the Netherlands to Ukraine

Rutte emphasized that the Netherlands is trying to resolve the issue of the F-16 transfer to Ukraine as soon as possible, and currently everything is going according to schedule.

We hope to hand them over as soon as possible... There is progress in these cases. We are going, in principle, according to the schedule. So this is good news, - emphasized Rutte.

However, he did not specify the exact number of aircraft that Ukraine should receive from the Netherlands.

According to him, the total number of F-16s that Ukraine should receive from the Netherlands may exceed 24 units.

There will be 24 fighters, maybe more, but not less... We are working together with the Danes and others, Rütte assured.

Putin does not want peace. Mette Frederiksen called for increased support for Ukraine

According to Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during his speech at the Munich Security Conference, Ukraine will not be able to win the criminal war unleashed by Russia without appropriate help with modern weapons from Western partners.

Frederiksen noted that the world is not doing enough to free Ukraine from territories occupied by Russia.

Are we doing enough? The answer is no. When we say that "there has been a war in Europe for two years" - this is a sentence that we should not say. We should support you much more, because Ukraine cannot win a war without weapons. "Just words are not enough," says the Danish Prime Minister.

She emphasized that it is necessary to understand that Russia is not looking for peace and continues to transform itself into a wartime economy.

That's why we need to speed up. Regardless of what happens in the US, Europe must be ready to defend itself. And in order to protect ourselves, we must protect Ukraine, because Ukraine is Europe. We no longer need words, we need solutions, Frederiksen emphasizes.
