Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will go to Turkey in February to meet with Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

This information was confirmed by Putin's aide, Yuri Ushakov, to the Russian agency "Interfax".
He added that one of the main subjects of the negotiations will probably be "Ukrainian issues".
Earlier, the Turkish media reported that on January 24, President of Iran Ibrahim Raisi, who postponed his visit due to the terrorist attack in the city of Kerman, would arrive in Turkey. On February 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin would arrive in Turkey.
Cooperation between Putin and Erdogan
They last met in Russia on September 4, 2023. After this meeting, Erdogan said that Ankara would prepare new proposals at the UN regarding the renewal of the agreement on the export of grain from Ukraine
On September 19, Erdogan said in an interview with the American TV channel RBS that Russian President Vladimir Putin is interested in "ending the war as soon as possible", but this should not be expected to happen quickly.
He added that Turkey trusts Russia as much as the West.
Erdogan added that half of Turkey's gas comes from Russia, and they also cooperate in the field of defence.
