As it turned out, the American actor recently visited the Ukrainian ship "Noosphere".

This was reported by the press service of the National Antarctic Scientific Center of Ukraine.

It was a chance meeting, but a very warm and friendly one. That's how it all happened. Liev is currently on an Antarctic cruise. In the area of King George Island, he saw the Ukrainian ship Noosphere, which was heading from our Akademik Vernadsky station to Chile. Through UNITED24, the actor contacted us and asked if he could visit the icebreaker and talk to its crew. The captain of Noosphere, Oleksandr Hryshko, readily agreed, and in a few hours, Liev boarded the Ukrainian flagship, the statement said.

The press service of the Ukrainian Antarctic scientific centre has already published colourful photos taken together with the Hollywood star.

In addition, it is emphasised that the actor not only visited the ship and managed to communicate with the crew members, but even decided to leave a note for them, which he wrote in Ukrainian.

In it, he frankly admitted what he really thinks of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who has been killing peaceful Ukrainians for 10 years in a row.

"To Captain Hryshko and the Noosphere team, thank you for your hospitality, but more so for raising the flag so proudly and reminding the world how strong we are together. Putin is a moron!!! — wrote Liev  Schreiber.
