According to the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Army General Mykola Malomuzha, in the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian war criminals are trying to regain the positions lost as a result of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces last year in the Robotyny area.

What is known about the situation in the Robotynoye district in the Zaporizhzhia region

Malomuzh noted that in the Robotyny region, the Ukrainian military is located next to one of the flanks of Russian war criminals and can use long-range artillery to reach the enemy's logistics routes.

Because of this, the Russian occupiers are desperately trying to capture Robotyn and push back the Ukrainian military as far as possible.

Malomuzh emphasized that the enemy is currently deploying new means and units to conduct hostilities.

What is known about the Kremlin's interest in capturing Robotyny

Putin himself controls this sector, because counterattacks from our side are possible. And the new means and especially the ammunition that are arriving, in the long run, may allow us to move straight to Melitopol, the encirclement of the group from the Zaporizhzhia direction, and in the long run - the Kherson region, - the analyst explains.

Malomuzh noted that the command of the occupying army of the Russian Federation is trying to prevent such a development of events.

And now one of the most important directions is here, because they consider the south to be strategically important both for them and for us in terms of liberation and possible most powerful strategic operations. They plan, just in case, that we will be able to develop them in the spring and summer, - emphasizes the guide of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
