The ISW team concluded that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has already begun to create the informational conditions for escalation against the Baltic states.

Putin can provoke an escalation in the Baltic region

The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) voiced the assumption that the actions of the head of the Kremlin are connected with a new attempt to weaken NATO countries.

For example, the dictator recently complained that Latvia and other Baltic states are "throwing [ethnic] Russians" out of their countries and that this situation "directly affects [Russia's] security."

According to American analysts, they have no evidence that a Russian attack against the Baltic states is imminent or likely.

At this time, it is not difficult to guess that the head of the Kremlin began to create informational conditions for future aggressive actions of Russia abroad under the pretext of protecting his "compatriots".

As you know, a month ago, the dictator publicly threatened Finland.

Estonian PM considers the risk of a conflict between NATO and Russia as real

Recently, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas issued a loud warning.

According to her, the EU has only 3-5 years left to prepare for a possible military threat to NATO from the Russian Federation.

It depends very much on how we will be able to preserve our unity and our position towards Ukraine. Because Russia needs a pause, and this pause is to gather its resources and forces. Weakness provokes aggressors, therefore weakness provokes Russia, Kaja Kallas shared her opinion.

In addition, she once again called on Kyiv's partners to increase their financial and military support.
