Russian dictator Vladimir Putin made a false statement against the background of the breakthrough of the fighters of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" (LFR), Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) and the Siberian Battalion(SibBat) in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
Putin couldn't explain to Russians why Russia's army fled away under the pressure of volunteers
According to the Kremlin's head, the raid’s aim by the RVC, LFR, and SibBat on the Russian Federation's territory is to disrupt the "presidential elections" on Mar.17 and prevent the "normal process of expressing the will of citizens."
In addition, the head of the Kremlin began to cynically lie that such attacks are taking place "against Ukraine's failures on the contact line" and are designed for "information effect".
Putin did not specify precisely which "failures" of the Armed Forces he invented.
Moreover, he did not explain to the Russians how the RVC, LFR, and SibBat managed to take control of one populated place of the Russian Federation in a matter of hours while the Russian army in Ukraine spent many months on this process.
The dictator also lied that there were foreign mercenaries among the volunteers who broke through the Russian border on March 12.

The RVC Commander Nikitin addressed Russians
Late at night on Mar. 12, the RVC Commander Denis "Rex" Nikitin recorded a powerful address to citizens of Russia.
He noted that the upcoming elections in the aggressor country are "circus", and Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin will rule for the next six years and "until his death".
