RF moved the Russian Guard to the border with Ukraine

Russian Guard

Ilya Yevlash, the head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, officially confirmed that Russian Guard soldiers were transferred to the Ukrainian border. Against the background of recent events, the soldiers of the Armed Forces are constantly on high alert.

Why was the Russian Guard sent to the border with Ukraine

According to Yevlash, all this is happening for the purpose of distraction.

Despite this, Ukrainian defenders cannot take any risks, that is why they are on high alert and on the border with Russia.

Of course, these sabotage and reconnaissance groups constantly try to enter the rear, into the five-kilometer zone near the border with Russia.

Ilya Yevlash draws attention to the fact that this zone cannot be considered safe, since the enemy is awake.

What is also important to understand is that the Russian invaders regularly continue to provoke, study the territory, find out where and what defenses are and how the soldiers of the Armed Forces react.

The head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces notes that the enemy constantly conducts reconnaissance with the help of various unmanned aerial systems, in particular, reconnaissance planes.

Therefore, we do not rule out that, in particular, these units can be transferred for this purpose. However, I want to assure you that all our units are in constant combat readiness, ready to respond to any events, Yevlash added.
