This week, the SSU special forces performed brilliantly with drones.

SSU's Alpha unit demonstrates super-professional work

The SSU Special Operations Centre "A" killed almost 500 Russian occupants in two weeks and demonstrated the work of attack drone operators.

This was reported by the SSU press service on Facebook.

SSU Special Forces helped Russians to "paraskinut mazgami" ("paraskinut mazgami" is a Russian idiom that means "to think carfully about sometning" and that literal translation means "to scatter one's brains around"). This time, the SSU's calendar of good news for December includes the jewellery work of the operatives of the Special Operations Centre "A".

In two weeks, the Center counted almost 500 destroyed Russians.

The shot was fired at a distance of 3.8 km from the target

The shot was fired by the Ukrainian Vyacheslav Kovalsky, who is a sniper.

This is reported by the WSJ.

I think that now the Russians will know what the Ukrainians are capable of. May they sit at home and be afraid, said the 58-year-old former businessman Vyacheslav Kovalsky, who now serves in the Armed Forces as a sniper.

According to the publication, Kovalsky and his adjuster, who are employees of the military counterintelligence unit of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), took up positions in Kherson, across the river from the Russian military base, while the adjuster calculated the distance, wind speed and other factors needed to perform the shot.

In particular, the adjuster used a laser to determine how far the Russian soldiers were. The gunner also had to calculate air temperature, humidity and the curvature of the ground to see how this would affect his partner's bullet.

The pair targeted a Russian officer giving instructions to a group of soldiers. In the end, the adjuster gave Kovalsky the go-ahead for pulling the trigger, telling him ‘now you go’, the WSJ reports.

Kovalsky's bullet, fired from a special sniper rifle, took about nine seconds to hit the target. The rifle consists of an American barrel, a Japanese sight and some Ukrainian parts.

The Journal even interviewed experts. Former snipers and ballistics experts said that such a shot is possible.
