On the night of Mar. 11, Russia claimed its forces and means of air defence were working due to an alleged attack by drones in the Bryansk and Oryol regions.

According to the MOD of the aggressor country, during the last night, an attack attempt using aircraft-type drones on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was "stopped". The Russian Ministry blames Ukraine for it.

The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation stated that six drones were intercepted and destroyed over these regions.

Four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Bryansk region and two UAVs over the territory of Oryol region were intercepted and destroyed by regular means of air defense, the agency said.

Drone attacks on the Russian territory

Yesterday, on March 10, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that air defence forces and means of air defence were working in the Belgorod region at night and in the morning, allegedly due to an attack by drones.

Later that day, a fire broke out at an oil depot in Kursk, Russia, allegedly because of the "drone attack”.

Before that, the Russian MOD reported that on the night of March 8, a massive drone attack was allegedly repelled, and air defence systems were operating in several regions. In particular, it was about shooting down drones over the territory of Volgograd and Belgorod regions.

It was previously reported that on March 6, drones attacked an airfield, a warehouse, and an oil depot in three regions.
