Explosions in Crimea on March 3

As reported by local Telegram channels, explosions were heard, in particular, near the oil depot. Firefighters and ambulances went there.

Russian channels report that air defense was operating in the city.

Two powerful bangs sounded in the sky above the city at the beginning of three o'clock in the morning. After some time, several more explosions rang out. Residents of a number of streets in the city reported that the glass in their houses shook, and car alarms went off in their yards.

Also, around 3 a.m., the Russian authorities in the occupied Crimea blocked traffic on the Crimean Bridge. The reasons for blocking traffic are not reported.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense writes about the downing of all 38 UAVs over Crimea.

The DIU announced surprises in Crimea

At the end of February, the head of the DIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov emphasized that his team owes its success in Crimea to the inhabitants of the peninsula.

According to him, the Crimeans not only strengthened their resistance to the Russian invaders, but also find an opportunity to monitor the entire operational situation on the peninsula and transmit this information to Ukraine as soon as possible.

We promised that Ukrainian special forces would be in Crimea in 2023, and we fulfilled this promise. New surprises await the enemies, and I would not recommend the civilian population to use the so-called "Crimean" bridge, — said Kyrylo Budanov.
