Earlier, late on Wednesday evening and on Thursday night, Crimean media and social media reported a series of explosions, first in Sevastopol and then in Krasnoperekopsk.

Around half past one in the morning, explosions were heard in the occupied Sevastopol in the area of the bay. According to the local Telegram social media users, four or five explosions were heard in the area.
In his turn, local gauleiter Mykhailo Razvozhayev spoke about the operation of air defence systems and the alleged downing of a drone over the Black Sea.
And around one in the morning, the Crimean press reported four explosions in the Krasnoperekopsk district, not far from the town of Dzhankoi in the northern Crimea. Representatives of the occupation "administration" did not explain the reason for this nighttime "cotton" (explosions).
