Russia is attacking Ukraine with missiles and drones: latest reports

During the night and morning of December 29, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with missiles and attack drones. Explosions rang out in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv region.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, at 8 in the morning the air defense was working in the capital. Debris fell earlier in the Svyatoshyn district in Kyiv.

Falling debris was also recorded in the Podilsk district of the capital.

Previously, a residential multi-storey apartment block was hit and caught fire. The information is being clarified.

A fire broke out in a warehouse in Podil. There are preliminary reports of injured civilians.

Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, announced three waves of attacks on the city. Earlier, Kharkiv was shelled by two types of missiles — S-300 and Kh-22.

At least 12 explosions have been reported in the city. A hospital building was damaged in the Kyiv district.

According to Suspilne TV, one of the city's shopping centres is on fire in Dnipro.

Two attack drones were destroyed over the Sumy region. Previously, the Russian occupiers also hit Konotop with a rocket. As a result of the shelling, three people were injured, and an apartment block was damaged.

More than 10 drones attacked Lviv region at night. A fire broke out at a critical infrastructure facility in Lviv.

At night, Russians attacked Odesa with drones. The wreckage of a downed drone damaged a multi-storey residential building, causing extensive damage and a fire.
