Russia loses the ability to use the Black Sea Fleet during missile attacks on Ukraine

Russian Black Sea Fleet

According to the spokesman of the AFU Naval Forces Command, Dmytro Pletenchuk, the criminal army of the Russian Federation has lost the ability to use missile carriers of the Black Sea Fleet during missile attacks on Ukraine.

What is known about the successful destruction of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation

Pletenchuk noted that the result of the successful actions of the Ukrainian military to reduce the combat potential of the Black Sea Fleet was a significant limitation of the logistical capabilities of the occupying army of the Russian Federation to provide the fleet's missile carriers with the missiles themselves.

It is because of this, as the spokesman of the Armed Forces Navy emphasized, that during the enemy's massive missile attacks on Ukraine on December 29 and January 2, underwater and surface missile carriers of the aggressor country were not used.

Pletenchuk noted that as of the morning of January 3, no enemy missile carriers had been detected in the Black Sea, even though the weather conditions were favourable for deploying ships on operational duty.

At the same time, the spokesman of the Armed Forces Navy added that on the morning of January 3, 2 ships were in the Black Sea and 1 in the Sea of Azov, but not missile carriers.

What is known about the logistical problems of the missile carriers of the Black Sea Fleet

Regarding the participation of these units, first of all, they experience problems with logistical support, Pletenchuk noted.

He reminded that the naval base and the corresponding missile weapons are located in Sevastopol, which the Russian Federation occupies.

And even if they are moved to Novorossiysk, according to the currently confirmed information, that they have moved there the equipment capable of loading these cruise missiles onto a carrier — there is no, the Navy spokesman emphasised.

According to Pletenchuk, this could be the key reason that resulted from the successful work of the Armed Forces of the Black Sea Fleet on the ships, logistics facilities, and storage of the missile arsenal.
