So that you understand, they can bring 150-200 new people to one position in a day. They are destroyed, and the next day Russians bring the same amount again, Zhorin notes.

He emphasised that the number of personnel the Russian army recruited to capture Avdiivka would be enough to capture several similar settlements.

At the same time, according to the information of the OSTG "Tavria" speaker, Dmytro Lykhovii, the assault units of the Russian occupiers were blocked by the Ukrainian military on the approaches to the village of Orlivka, where the invaders tried to launch an offensive with the support of artillery, mortars, FPV drones and aviation.

What is known about the losses of the Russian army in the area of Lastochkino

According to the junior sergeant of the UAV battalion of the 3rd AFU Assault Brigade, Anatoly Nikitin, in a comment to the journalists of the Kyiv24 channel, during one of the attacks of the occupation army of the Russian Federation in the area of Lastochkyne, the Ukrainian military eliminated about 40 invaders without any losses on their part.

Nikitin noted that during the storming of Avdiivka and Lastochkyne, the occupiers attacked over the corpses of their comrades.

According to him, the occupiers conducted two waves of attacks toward Lastochkyne.

The first time the attack ended with 40 killed on the part of the enemy, with zero losses on the part of the 3rd Assault Brigade and allies, the second attack was 37 dead on the part of the Russians, and again with zero on our side, Nikitin noted.

The military added that the Russian occupiers did not count on losses during the assaults in the Avdiivka direction.

What we saw during the attack on the Avdiivka dachas was that the Russians lost a huge number of infantry there. Just huge, they just went their own way, regardless of anything, — emphasised Nikitin.
