Russia probably transferred the newest large landing ship "Ivan Gren" from Novorossiysk to Sevastopol. The satellite fixed it in the bay.

What is known about the new Russian ship

As reported by the monitoring Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" concerning the satellite image of OSINT MT Anderson from January 6, the ship "Ivan Gren" was spotted near the pier in Sevastopol Bay.

At the end of January 2022, Russia transferred to Sevastopol the ship "Petr Morgunov", which belongs to the same project as "Ivan Gren". The ship was constantly in Novorossiysk and was called in Sevastopol ostensibly for training.

By the way, "Petr Morgunov" was put into operation on December 23, 2020, with a total displacement of 6.6 thousand tons and the possibility of transporting a reinforced battalion of marines with equipment and landing on pontoons.

The ship houses an aviation group, namely two Ka-29 helicopters and an Orlan-10 UAV in the deck hangar.

Destruction of "Novocherkassk"

On the night of December 26, the Air Force launched a missile attack on the large landing assault ship "Novocherkassk", which the Russian terrorists had stationed in the port of Feodosia. The ship was destroyed, and 74 sailors were killed along with it.

The ship contained the Shahed kamikaze drones, which the Russian army used to attack Ukrainian cities.

After that, the Russians tried to find gunners in Feodosia. For this, a large number of operatives were sent to the city.
