Russia: TOT residents with Ukrainian passports to be denied access to the Internet

Passport of Russia

Russians in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) have invented a new method of forced passportisation and control over the local population. This time it is about access to the Internet.

Russia’s new method of mass forced passportisation of Ukrainians

The Ukrainian national resistance headquarters reports that the occupiers are planning to introduce mandatory passport checks for Internet users.

That is, all users must have the passport of a Russian citizen (which is possible only after renunciation of Ukrainian citizenship — ed.) to be able to receive services. At the same time, this will strengthen control over local residents, as the enemy is constantly looking for and updating the database of "disloyal citizens".

The contact details of those who help the enemy to carry out forced passportisation can be reported via the link .

Situation in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

Russians in the TOT are preparing for the so-called "presidential elections of the Russian Federation" in March 2014.

According to the Ukrainian National Resistance Centre (NRC), "volunteers" go door-to-door, accompanied by Russian military personnel, collecting signatures in support of "candidate" Vladimir Putin.

The goal was to create the illusion of local support for the occupation. However, despite the coercive nature of the process and the organisation of the collection among employees of "state institutions", the enemy managed to collect up to 5,000 signatures.

The Russian occupiers also continue repressive measures against the civilian population of the occupied south and east.

According to the Ukrainian underground, at least 1,500 TOT Ukrainian residents, suspected of collaborating with the Ukrainian underground, were detained by the occupiers.
