Russia will rebuild its army and attack NATO: German analysts to predict a new war

Specialists of the German Foreign Policy Society believe that after the end of intense fighting in Ukraine, Putin can restore the army and weapons. And start a new war, now against NATO.

When a new war is going to begin

Russian President Vladimir Putin may have six to ten years to prepare and attack NATO.

German analysts report this.

In their opinion, as soon as the intense fighting in Ukraine ends, Putin can restore his country's army and weapons in six to ten years.

During this period, Germany and NATO must enable their armed forces to deter and, if necessary, fight against Russia. Only then will they be able to reduce the risk of a new war in Europe, the report says.

Analysts note that, during this period, NATO countries should influence only their deterrence and defense capabilities, not whether Russia wants to start another war.

The time it takes for Russia to rebuild its armed forces determines NATO's need for speed. The alliance must be able to repel a Russian attack in six years. Longer terms already increase the risk of war, analysts write.

In addition, they believe that a war between Russia and NATO will happen sooner or later.

The alliance no longer rules out a Russian attack. It is Russia that defines these time frames through a combination of long-standing motivation and increasing military potential. The window for a possible Russian attack will open as soon as Russia believes that an attack, for example, on the Baltic states, can be crowned with success, analysts believe.

What is known about Conscription in Russia

As previously clarified by the State Government, the Russians continue to conscript people for war against Ukraine. Currently, its pace is more than 20 thousand people per month. Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksiy Danilov reported that Russia is trying to recruit mercenaries in the countries of Central Asia for the war against Ukraine.

The occupiers seriously engaged in conscription in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, miners and prisoners are called up in the captured Luhansk region.

It will be recalled that DIU spokesperson Andrii Yusov said earlier that Russia could launch a new wave of public conscription in the fall. At the same time, the Kremlin is thinking about how to increase the readiness of the population to "go to the slaughter."
