Foreign-made parts in Russian and Iranian weapons: what is known

The single database of foreign components in the Russian and Iran weapons has two thousand components.

The head of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC), Oleksandr Novikov, revealed this information.

This is the world's first open database of foreign components in weapons. It includes more than 2,000 components used by Russia and Iran in various types of UAVs, missiles, electronic warfare systems and many other types of weapons and military equipment, he said.

According to Novikov, the database contains information about the type of weapons, the manufacturer and the technical characteristics of each component, "therefore, everyone from an investigative journalist to a foreign official will be able to collect a sufficient evidence base and investigate supply chains, attract accomplices of this war to responsibility".

In this way, NAPC identifies companies that supply electronic components to Russia, strengthening the military potential of the terrorist state. The database is constantly being updated, the NAPC head emphasised.
