On the morning of 6 January, Russian occupiers attacked the Tyahynska community in Kherson region. The shelling caused significant damage.
Russia attacks Kherson region once again
As noted, the Russian shelling destroyed the village council building, modular houses where internally displaced persons lived, a warehouse with humanitarian aid, and private cars.
Shelling of Kherson region
Russian troops are constantly shelling Kherson and the region.
In particular, on 4 January, Russian troops shelled the village of Stanislav in the Kherson region. As a result of the shelling, electricity was cut off in the village. Two people were injured and one person was killed.
In addition, on this day, the occupiers shelled Novotyahyntsi. A 52-year-old woman was wounded as a result of the shelling. She was taken to hospital.
Also on 26 December, Russian terrorists shelled the railway station in Kherson. The shelling killed a 29-year-old police officer.
Two Kherson police officers aged 34 and 38 were also wounded, including two civilians aged 34 and 51.
Following this, the Ministry of Reintegration announced increased security measures for passengers.
