Russian army is already making attempts to attack Ukraine's energy system

According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine representative (DIU), the criminal army of the Russian Federation has already tried to attack the objects of the critical infrastructure of the energy system of Ukraine.

What is known about the Russian army's attempts to attack the energy system

According to DIU representative Andrii Yusov, since the military does not always report the direction of downed enemy missiles, Ukrainians may not understand that the occupying Russian army is already making attempts to attack energy infrastructure in Ukraine.

When we say that there are currently no attacks on the energy infrastructure, this is not true. There have been such attempts and they continue. In many cases, when our defenders down targets, they deliberately do not comment on where they were aimed. Such a threat persists, Yusov noted.

Yusov added that even if the information about Russia's increase in the volume and pace of missile production is accurate, the enemy still does not have as large a stockpile of missiles as last winter.

Now they work in a more economical mode than last winter. But every attack is a test for our air defense. As for the pace of production, the enemy has plans, but they are still far from being implemented. The sanctions policy is being signaled, as is the general degradation of Russia in technical terms. Today, they do not have those reserves, but they are capable of several powerful attacks, the DIU representative explains.

How the loss of three fighters at once forced the Russian occupiers to abandon the use of aviation in the Kherson area

According to Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, the elimination by the Ukrainian military of three Su-34 fighter jets of the occupation army of the Russian Federation forced Russian war criminals to abandon the use of aircraft in the Kherson region.

It had a significant impact. "We are observing a lull in the use of guided aerial bombs," Humeniuk emphasised.

According to her, there was a period when the weather did not allow the invaders to use this air pressure method.

However, they used the "smallest weather window" to "make up" for what was lost and very densely bombed the Dnipro areas of the right and left banks with guided aerial bombs.

But at the moment we see that they are in serious and deep contemplation. They really study what it was and how dangerous it is. So far, we are not recording the bombings, the spokeswoman of the Southern Forces said.
