Russian blogger got suspicion for calls to wipe Ukraine "to dust"

Elvina Borovkova

Russian blogger Elvina Borovkova publicly called for the genocide of Ukrainians. The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) declared a suspicion to her.

Russian blogger received suspicion

The prosecutor's office specifies that Borovkova is a 25-year-old Russian Federation citizen living in Yaroslavl. She has popular blogs on Telegram and TikTok with an audience of thousands.

The SBU notes that the Russian woman is part of the pool of Putin's propagandists, who campaign for mass murders of Ukrainian citizens and the destruction of our civilian infrastructure.

Borovkova praised the shelling of Kharkiv on February 22, 2023, when the Russians used S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to strike the city.

The next day, the perpetrator called on the occupiers to strike again at the regional centre to "finish the survivors."

In addition, the propagandist recorded and made public her address to the command of the Russian troops, in which she proposed to destroy Ukraine "to the ground".

According to the investigation, the destructive videos of the enemy blogger were immediately "picked up" by top Kremlin TV channels to create staged stories about the war in Ukraine.

The blogger is also actively involved in financing the Russian military and has repeatedly called for terrorist acts against the civilian population of Ukraine.

What does it threaten Elvira Borovkova?

The SSU investigation confirmed the facts of information and subversive activities of the attacker against Ukraine.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified Borovkova in absentia of the suspicion under Chapter 2 of Article 442 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (public calls for genocide).

The perpetrator is hiding from justice on the territory of the Russian Federation, therefore comprehensive measures are being taken to bring her to justice for the crimes committed.
