Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov once again spoke about peace negotiations with Ukraine and his readiness to "listen to all those interested in justice." Lavrov also claims that all statements that Russian President Vladimir Putin is against negotiations are "false".

What Lavrov said about peace talks with Ukraine

According to him, the Kremlin is allegedly ready to discuss any severe proposal that would primarily guarantee Russia's national interests.

We will be ready to listen to everyone who is sincerely interested in justice, including in the establishment of justice in the relations between Russia and Ukraine, which would include, of course, an end to the Western policy of using Ukraine as an instrument of war against Russia. President Putin has said more than once that when someone says that Russia is against negotiations, it is not true. Anthony Blinken said so a few days ago in Davos — it is not true. All this time, Russia has emphasised that we will be ready to discuss any serious proposal and reach a solution that would guarantee the legitimate national interests of Russia and the Ukrainian people, Lavrov said.

Also, the Russian MFA chief hinted that, supposedly, "to establish justice, Western countries should stop helping Ukraine to continue waging war with Russia."

Russia is considering the possibility of a war with NATO

Russian propagandists asked Sergei Lavrov's deputy, Sergei Ryabkov, whether an armed conflict between Russia and NATO could be expected.

Ryabkov began to claim that the development of events depends on the North Atlantic Alliance.

Totally and completely the choice is on NATO's side. We are ready, as it has already been demonstrated, to protect our national interests with all the means at our disposal, — said the Russian diplomat cynically.

In addition, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation began to lie about the fact that NATO "endlessly encroaches" on the interests of Russia.

Sergei Ryabkov also complains about some phantom people who continue to test the strength of the aggressor country.

They must have believed that there is no limit to their own rate-raising game, but they may be among those who lose completely on this ground, — added Lavrov's deputy.
