Consequences of Russian missile attack on Kyiv
According to the mayor of the capital, 16 people were injured in a high-rise building in the Solomyansky district, where a fire broke out after being hit by an enemy missile. Doctors hospitalised 15 of them.
In addition, a warehouse building in the Podil district is on fire. The fire is on an area of 2000 square metres. Emergency services are working at the scene.
A supermarket also burned down in the Desnianskyi district as a result of missile fire. In the Darnytskyi district, non-residential buildings were damaged.
In the Holosiivskyi district, missile fragments fell in a park. In the Pechersk district, debris fell on the roof of a 9-storey residential building, another high-rise building and a private house.
In the Obolonskyi district, a residential building is also on fire, and some of the debris fell on non-residential buildings and warehouses. In the Svyatoshynsky area, a social infrastructure building was damaged.
In the Shevchenkivsky district, the debris fell on the street.

On the night of 2 January, Russia launched several dozen attack drones and missiles over Ukraine.
An air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and a number of southern and central regions, and air defence forces were deployed. Later, explosions were heard in the capital.
In the centre of Kharkiv, a fire broke out in residential buildings. There are victims.
It is noted that on the night of 2 January, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine using 35 Shahid-136/131 unmanned aerial vehicles from Cape Chauda in Crimea and the Primorsko-Akhtarsky district of Russia.
All enemy attack UAVs were destroyed by the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces.
