On January 18, Russian troops attacked Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. A woman died, and two were injured.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional military administration (RMA), Oleg Syniegubov, reports that Russian troops hit an apartment building.

A 57-year-old woman died as a result of the shelling. A 57-year-old and a 61-year-old man were injured.

The situation in Kharkiv Oblast as of January 18

According to the RMA, more than 15 settlements of the Kharkiv region were hit by artillery and mortar strikes of the Russian Federation for the last 24 hours in particular: Okip in Bogodukhiv district; Kozacha Lopan of Kharkiv district; Gatyshche and Pletenivka of Chuhuiv district; Synkivka, Ivanivka and Berestove of Kupiansk district.

Fedorivka and Vovchansk of the Chuhuiv district and Tabaivka and Pishchane of the Kupiansk district were hit by enemy airstrikes.

Around 10:30 p.m. on January 17, the occupiers struck the city of Chughuiv twice. An enemy ammunition hit the building of the educational institution.

A 62-year-old woman who worked as a boiler room operator died as a result of the shelling. A 63-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were injured. Both were hospitalized, their condition is average. Another 82-year-old victim was treated on the spot.

Also, around 15:00, the enemy attacked the village of Malyi Burluk in the Kypiansk district. A 62-year-old woman died, and two children were injured.

A 10-year-old boy suffered a traumatic amputation of the lower limb, the child was taken to the hospital, his condition is serious. A 13-year-old girl suffered a shrapnel wound, the victim was also taken to the hospital.
