The Russians held military trainings in Transnistria
Shots were fired near the villages of Gishka and Corjov on the left bank of the Dnister River as part of unauthorised military trainings. The shooting lasted for about 40 minutes, the head of the Moldovan delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC), Sergiu Golovaci, confirmed to Zona de Securitate.
The JCC is a joint military command structure of Moldova, Transnistria and Russia that operates in the demilitarised zone on the border between Moldova and Ukraine.
The Reintegration Bureau announced that it would raise the issue of what happened at the next JCC meeting.
