On the morning of Thursday, February 22, Russian occupying forces struck the village of Lymany in the Halytsivka community with MLRS, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaly Kim, said.

The Russian Federation struck the Mykolaiv region

A man was injured as a result of the attack. He was treated by medics on the spot. More than 30 private residential buildings were destroyed and damaged.

The day before, the Russian military directed an FPV drone over the village of Dmytrivka of the Kutsurub community.

The car was damaged. The occupiers also shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community and the city of Ochakiv twice with artillery. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

What is known about Russia's preparations for a massive missile attack on Ukraine

According to the head of the OC "South" press centre chief, Col. Natalia Humenyuk, the Russians have now brought the missile carriers to the base points. They are equipped and ready — "although not all and not completely".

"Caliber" carriers are not at sea now, but they will have two or three hours to arrive on combat duty, the AFU representative emphasised.

In view of general analytics, taking into account the pause that the enemy endured, understanding his attraction to sacred dates and various other interpretations, in particular, preparation for the same quasi-elections that they are so actively presenting. We can say that now there is a certain calm, maybe before the next storm, — says the OC "South" spokeswoman.

Currently, two boats of the Black Sea Fleet are in the sea. It is about ensuring control over the surface situation and protecting the base point, Gumenyuk explained.

In addition, she mentioned the launch of yesterday's rocket of the Russian Federation, which the occupiers fired from the Black Sea at Odesa. Humenyuk calls this attack "a typical tactic of the enemy." According to her, point rocket strikes will take place from time to time.

Against the background of the aviation losses, the enemy uses it cautiously. A missile strike was launched from the Black Sea to measure the readiness and density of air defence. The missile was probably the Kh-31, an anti-radar missile. It lost its capacity over the Black Sea, Humeniuk explained.
