On January 31, it became officially known that the State Duma of the Russian Federation in the second and third readings adopted the law on confiscation of property for so-called "fakes" about the Russian army.

Russia's government will seize property from Russians for criticizing the war

What isessentialt to understand is that the new law also provides for the confiscation of property from convicts under several other articles:

  • on public appeals to carry out activities directed against the security of the state;

  • on "public calls for extremist activities";

  • about "calls for the introduction of sanctions";

  • assisting in their implementation of the "rehabilitation of Nazism";

In addition, it is emphasized that the confiscation of property (based on a guilty verdict - ed.) will apply to those convicted of crimes "for selfish reasons or hire."

Russian opposition journalists draw attention to the fact that before the adoption of the current law, the Russian Criminal Code already provided for the confiscation of property of those convicted under several dozen articles.

These were mainly "economic" or aggressive severe crimes.

The probability of Russia's attack was assessed in Germany

According to the German MOD chief, Boris Pistorius, there are currently no signs of a threat of war between Russia and NATO countries.

Currently, I do not see any danger of a Russian attack on the territory of NATO or a NATO partner. But this is just a freeze frame. "No one knows whether it will survive," said the minister.

The German minister draws attention to the fact that the criminal army of the Russian Federation is currently completely focused on the war against Ukraine and has several problems despite desperate attempts to replenish the losses of personnel and military equipment.
