Russians zombify Ukrainian children under occupation under the New Year's holiday guise

The occupiers are trying with all their might to "brainwash" Ukrainian children under occupation and even use New Year's holidays for this. In particular, they are shown the play "Russia", where the existence of Ukraine is denied.

How the occupiers zombify Ukrainian children

According to Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov, the occupiers are taking Ukrainian children to Moscow for the propaganda exhibition "Russia", where the existence of Ukraine is denied, and it is claimed that their homeland is the Russian Federation.

In addition, 200 children from the captured territory will be taken to the Kremlin to the Christmas tree to show how beautifully Erefiya is celebrated, but they will definitely forget to say that only a few percent of Russians celebrate this way, more than 70 percent of the inhabitants of the "great country" receive a salary that is not even enough for life, the message says.

The mayor of Melitopol also said that the Russians are especially zombifying children to "destroy the identity of young Ukrainians and raise them to be loyal citizens of the aggressor country."

Russia abducts Ukrainian children

For Children's Day in 2023, the Online.UA team presented the documentary project "Abducted Childhood", which tells the story of Ukrainian children forcibly deported and abducted to Russia.

In the "Abducted Childhood" film, children and their parents openly share their own stories: some of them were in captivity, some were forcibly taken to a "rehabilitation camp", and some were separated from their parents during the so-called filtering measures.

It is essential to understand that in more than a year and a half of full-scale war, Ukraine was able to return less than 400 children. At the same time, Russia claims to have "evacuated" 744,000 Ukrainian children.

Since diplomacy with the aggressor country does not work, Russia continues to remove children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine illegally.

However, this is not an evacuation, as the Russians claim, but a mass abduction of minor citizens of Ukraine.

The project documents children's testimonies about war crimes committed by the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian people.
