Around 1:15 p.m. on January 18, the Russian occupiers dropped six aerial bombs on the city of Orikhiv. Non-residential buildings and a multi-storey building were targeted, and an entire entrance was destroyed. Information about the victims is being clarified.

The army of the Russian Federation destroys Orikhiv

On January 18, Russian troops carried out six airstrikes on Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region.

The head of Zaporizhzhyia Regional Military Administration (RMA), Yuriy Malashko, informed in Telegram.

Around 1:15 p.m., Russian terrorists launched 6 airstrikes on the impregnable city of Orikhiv. Enemy bombs hit non-residential buildings and a high-rise building. The entire entrance was destroyed, he wrote.

The head of the RMA published photos from the place. The footage shows that only construction debris remained from the building.

Specialists are currently examining the impact sites. As of this moment, information about the victims has not been received.

What is known about Russia's attack on Orikhiv

The head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, Yuriy Malashko, wrote that at 09:30 on January 2, the occupiers of the Russian Federation carried out two airstrikes with guided bombs on the city of Orikhiv.

As a result of the impact, the house was damaged, and the entire entrance was destroyed.

A resident of one of the apartments in the building, a 75-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with injuries, Malashko noted.

On October 19, 2023, Russian troops shelled Orikhiv, which lasted 7 hours in a row. Eight people were injured.

On March 31, 2023, the Russian army fired at Orikhiv from an aircraft. The enemy fired two missiles at the city. Two people were injured.
