According to the platoon commander of the 95th Assault Brigade, Stanislav Krasnov, the occupation army of the Russian Federation in the east of Ukraine is trying to carry out round-the-clock assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian military.
Krasnov emphasised that small infantry groups of the Russian occupiers tried to advance 5-10 meters and then hid in earthen trenches.

According to Krasnov, if the Russians take Lyman, it "will open a direct road to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. This is the number one strategic goal."
