As a result of shelling of Kyiv in the morning of January 23, a car caught fire and a fire started in a house. The kindergarten was also damaged, and there are injured.

What is known about the consequences of shelling Kyiv

So far, nine people have been injured in the Solomyanska and Sviatoshyn districts as a result of the enemy's early morning attack. Eight people were hospitalised. In particular, doctors are performing resuscitation measures on one victim. And one, a 13-year-old boy, was given help on the spot, — Klitschko wrote.

Svyatoshyn district: there is an injured person, a car is on fire, damage to a kindergarten and a house

As a result of the missile attack, as noted in the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), in Sviatoshyn district:

  • parked cars caught fire;

  • previously, there was damage to the kindergarten;

  • previously, there was damage to one house.

It is already known about one wounded person. The information is being clarified. Emergency services follow to the scene. The air alert continues. "Stay in shelters," added the administration.

Later, KMCA noted that the information about the damage to the kindergarten in Sviatoshyn district was not confirmed, but a car caught fire next to the kindergarten.

In addition, according to Klitschko, an apartment is on fire at another address in Sviatoshyn district.

"Due to falling debris in the building, the balconies from the ground to the 4th floors were damaged. One victim was found in the apartment where the fire occurred," the mayor added.

Solomyanskyi district: there is a casualty and a fire in a residential building

As Klitschko said, in the Solomyansk district, the windows of an apartment building were shattered by an explosive wave.

So far, one victim has been hospitalised by medics in the Solomyanskyi district, he added.

Klitschko also reported on a fire in several apartments of a residential building in the same area.

Pechersk district

According to Klitschko, a non-residential building was hit in the Pechersk district.

Emergency services units are heading to the scene, he added.

Data on victims

As Klitschko said, there are currently seven victims as a result of the morning attack on the capital. Most of them are in the Solomyanskyi district.

Six people were hospitalised, one victim, a 13-year-old boy, was treated by medics on the spot, he noted.
