According to the United Press Center OSTG "Odesa" spokeswoman, Col Natalia Gumenyuk, there is currently a high risk of preparation of the criminal army of the Russian Federation for a new massive attack on Ukraine with the use of missiles and UAVs.

What is known about the signs of preparation of the Russian army for a massive attack on Ukraine

Humenyuk emphasised that the intention of the Russian occupiers to carry out a mass attack on Ukraine is evidenced by the increased activity of enemy reconnaissance drones, especially in the front-line areas.

Just the day before, the Ukrainian military destroyed two reconnaissance-type drones: "Kub" and ZALA.

We see that the need to collect information and the activity of implementing this activity may indicate that the enemy is preparing another massive strike, — notes the OSTG "Odesa" spokeswoman.

Humenyuk emphasised that the occupiers are currently keeping the warships of the Black Sea Fleet closer to the base in Novorossiysk after the destruction of the large amphibious assault ship "Cesar Kunikov".

As of February 20, two ships are monitoring the situation near the bases. One ship in the Sea of Azov controls the passage through the Kerch Strait, watching civilian shipping.

And although, at the moment, all the enemy's missile carriers are brought to their base points, and the weather does not favour the deployment of a wider group of ships at sea, the storms are not so critical. If desired, the occupiers can bring surface and underwater missile carriers into the water area.

Therefore, we continue to monitor the situation, — Humenyuk noted.

What is the task currently facing the occupying army of the Russian Federation in Ukraine?

According to British analysts from the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) Nick Reynolds and Jack Watling, in a comment to AP journalists, the occupying Russian army is currently tasked with minor tactical shifts.

Russian units are faced with the task of carrying out small tactical attacks that, at a minimum, cause stable losses to Ukraine and allow Russian forces to seize and hold positions, analysts emphasise.
