The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleg Syniegubov, reports that around 10:00 p.m., the enemy shelled the Kyivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv. Previously, it was S-300 missiles from the territory of the Belgorod region.
As a result of the impact, private houses, buildings of an educational institution, a postal and telecommunications company, and cars were damaged.
The situation in Kharkiv Oblast
On the morning of January 23, the Russian Federation launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. As of the evening of January 23, the State Emergency Service reported eight dead and 60 injured (including six children) in the city.
The occupiers targeted high-rise residential buildings, causing significant damage. An educational institution and other civilian infrastructure were also destroyed.
In the Kharkiv region, about 20 settlements were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire during the day.
The Russian Federation carried out airstrikes near the settlements of Lyptsi, Kozacha Lopan of the Kharkiv district, and Gatyshche of Chuhuyiv district.
On January 23, around 10:30 p.m., the occupiers shelled the village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv district. The building of the fire station, the modular base of emergency aid, the ambulance car, and the gas pipeline were damaged. There are no casualties.
At around 09:00, the enemy attacked the village Kozacha Lopan of Kharkiv district with an anti-aircraft gun. The cafe and shop buildings were damaged. No casualties.
At 20:00, the invaders shelled Kupyansk. A private house was damaged. No casualties.
