As a result of a Russian missile strike on Kharkiv, one person was killed and more than 40 people were injured and.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kkarkiv regional military administration (RMA), reported 41 wounded. 16 of them were hospitalised.

At around 07:30, the Russians struck at least 4 times in the central part of Kharkiv, in particular in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Apartment blocks, commercial buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged, and cars caught fire.

According to the RMA, during the day, about 20 localities in Kharkiv region came under hostile artillery and mortar fire, including: Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv district; Vovchansk, Budarky in the Chuhuiv district; Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestivka in the Kupiansk district.

Russian troops carried out air strikes near Mala Vovcha and Okhrymivka in the Chuhuiv district; Petropavlivka, Kucherivka in the Kupiansk district; Cherneshchyna in the Izium district.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 7 enemy attacks near Synkivka and Petropavlivka in the Kupyansk district.

Yesterday at 14:16 and 21:22 the enemy shelled Vovchansk in the Chuhuiv district. Two private houses, a shop, outbuildings and a car were damaged. No one was killed or wounded.

As a result of the shelling, 20,612 subscribers in 67 settlements of Dergachiv, Zolochiv, Vovchansk, Velykoburlutsk, Kupyansk, Borivsk and Izium communities were cut off from electricity.
