Emergency services workers were killed as a result of a repeated Russian missile attack on Odesa. It is also known about injured doctors and rescuers.

Russians killed a paramedic and a rescuer killed in Odesa

The head of the Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleg Kiper, said that the medics and rescuers who arrived first at the site of the missile's impact were killed and injured.

It is known about one dead paramedic and one dead rescuer. There are other victims and wounded; their number is being specified. Some of the wounded are in serious condition.

The Russian occupiers launched a rocket attack on Odessa on March 15. It was reported that there were casualties as a result of the attack.

What is known about the previous Russian attacks on Odesa

The Russian occupiers have recently been carrying out pinpoint strikes on the Odesa region from tactical aircraft. So, in recent weeks, the Russians have fired several missiles from aircraft in the Black Sea region. Often, enemy missiles did not reach the target or were destroyed in mid-flight.

The military emphasises that the enemy continues the tactics of pinpoint missile strikes to test and scout Ukraine's air defenses.

On March 6, Russia launched a missile attack on the port infrastructure of Odesa. During this time, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, were in the city.

Navy spokesman 3rd Rank Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk told the media that five people had died.

European Council President Charles Michel condemned the strike as "another sign of Russia's cowardly tactics", which he said were "below even the Kremlin".
