The Russian Federation launched 64 missiles and drones in the morning. They shot down 44.

In a massive missile attack this morning, Russia launched 64 air aims. Defence forces shot down 44 of them.

The enemy used:

  • 20 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type (Chauda — Crimea)

  • 29 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from 10 Tu-95MS strategic aircraft (launches — Engels and Caspian Sea);

  • Four Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers (Sevastopol and Kursk launch area)

  • Three Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles from carriers in the Black Sea (launch area — Novorossiysk);

  • three "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles (launched from Cape Tarkhankut — Crimea, Voronezh Region — RF.);

  • five S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles (launch area — Belgorod Region, Russia).

Managed to knock down:

  • 26 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles;

  • three Kalibr cruise missiles

  • 15 combat UAVs of the "Shahed-136/131" type Russian troops shelled Kyiv

A nationwide air alert was declared at 5:54 a.m. Around 7:00 a.m., a series of explosions rang out in the capital. Vitali Klitschko, the capital's mayor, announced the work of the air defence forces.

As a result of a missile attack on Kyiv, debris was recorded in the Dniprovskyi district of the capital.

After the explosions, medics went to the Dniprovskyi district of the capital, the mayor of the city, Vitalii Klychko, said. One victim was treated on the spot.

Our correspondents inform that the light has gone out in some of the houses of the Dniprovskyi district. According to Klitschko, the missile fragments damaged two high-voltage lines due to the Russian attack. Some consumers on the left bank are currently without electricity.

One person was injured in Holosiivskyi district. Damage to the power grid was also recorded.

One victim was hospitalised by medics from a high-rise building in the Holosiivskyi district, where the fire occurred as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation, Klitschko clarified.
